For the past 25 years, Theresa Tran has worked on brand strategy, product launches, global publicity, sponsorship activation, digital/social media, strategic partnerships and philanthropy for some of the world’s best brands, events, celebrity talent, sporting legends, and cultural icons. Not only has it taken her to over 80 countries throughout the world, but her contributions have helped generate millions in revenue growth and billions in media impressions.

Theresa specializes in strategic marketing communications, honed while working in-house at major corporations such as Nike, BMW, DKNY, and Walt Disney Company.  While at Nike, she was Director of Communications for Jordan, serving as the communications strategist and lead for all brand, product and sports marketing initiatives. She played an integral role on global campaigns as part of the Jordan leadership team, and worked closely with Michael Jordan and the entire Jordan athlete roster to ensure a cohesive and creative approach to the growth of the brand and the business.

In 2006, Theresa left Corporate America to pursue her entrepreneurial dream. She formed THE OFFENSE, a boutique consultancy that helps clients navigate various aspects of sports, travel, entertainment, fashion, media, tech, events and culture to amplify their image and brand.  She assembles diverse teams to work with her on projects all over the world - supporting companies and individuals on their business expansion and marketing initiatives, while injecting her signature style and creativity grounded in traditional brand management.

Theresa's experiences working with powerhouse brands, mid-to-large size companies, start-ups, niche industries, celebrity talent and social influencers allows her to bring a vastly connected and well-rounded perspective to her clients - achieving maximum reach and impact that crosses genres, and even continents.

Theresa earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and International Business from Portland State University.  She loves to travel and vows that she can live and work anywhere in the world, as long as there is good wi-fi, good food and good people (good weather a major plus).  Her Saigon, Vietnam birthplace and her Portland, Oregon upbringing forms the basis of  "The American Dream", which she lives out every day both personally and professionally.
